Wir haben gerade das Thema "Blog" - am Beispiel Wordpress.
Da erinnerte ich mich daran, dass hier auch noch so ein kleines
"Blöggchen" existiert - falls es noch lebt...
Jetzt geht es um Themes -- "Sssiiims", wie es unser Dozent ausspricht.
Nicht zu verwechseln mit "whizz" (=whidth). Aber das soll keinen falschen Eindruck
erwecken... er ist wirklich sehr nett, mit viel trockenem Humor.
Wir haben heute das Thema für unser Abschlussprojekt verkündet bekommen: es handelt
sich um ein bewusst allgemein gehaltenes Thema, zu dem man sich etwas passendes
aussuchen kann, worüber man eine Webseite machen soll - mit selbst verfassten Texten.
Unser Oberthema ist "Energien" - ein Thema mit viel Potential.
Mein erstes Brainstorming ergab:
Energien bei Star Trek (Warpantrieb, Transporter, Traktorstrahl etc...)
oder
verschiedene Raumschiff-Antriebe in der Sci-Fi Welt

Meine Kollegin hatte dann noch eine andere gute Idee
"Kriminelle Energien im Marvel-Universum"

Bleach - Foreshadowing of Emotions

Inue Orihime und Ulquiorra Schiffer aus Bleach.

Der Titel des Bildes lautet "Foreshadowing of Emotions", was soviel heißen soll wie "Vorahnung von Gefühlen". Mein Versuch, diesen Schriftzug im Bild unterzubringen ist leider gescheitert. Ich habs nicht so mit Schrift im Wallpaper :-(
Aber ansonsten bin ich recht stolz auf mein Machwerk. Komplett selbst aus Screenshots zusammengeschnippelt und Ulquiorra guckt (meiner Meinung nach) tatsächlich überrascht -
denn normalerweise guckt der Typ (der bei Bleach zu den Bösen gehört) immer nur emotionslos. Habe aber ein bissl an seinen Augen gebastelt *g*. Und was man alles mit Gimp tun kann, um farblich blasse und leicht verschwommene Figuren klarer, dreidimensionaler und farbenfroher aussehen zu lassen ist schon erstaunlich.
Die Kombination Ulquiorra und Orihime basiert nur auf einer einzigen Sequenz in Bleach: Sie ist
gefangen, er redet kurz mit ihr und sagt ihr (im Wesentlich), dass ihre Freunde es nicht schaffen werden, sie zu retten und sie haut ihm eine runter (untypische Reaktion für Orihime). Er geht.
Doch die Sequenz reichte aus, um die Phantasie der Anime-Shipper-Gemeinde anzuheizen. Meiner inklusive *gg*. Auf dem Wallpaper ist Ulquiorra im Begriffe zu gehen, schielt aber über die Schulter zurück zu Orihime. Eigentlich ist er völlig frei von Emotionen, aber warum schielt er dann zurück? Warum denkt er über sie nach, als er den Raum verlässt? Ulquiorra tatsächlich etwas ratlos...Was ist nur mit ihm?

Kein Zweifel möglich. Deshalb spielt das Wallpaper zeitlich nach der Serie und trägt den Titel

Vorlage war ein Nana-Wallpaper, was ich super fand, aber nie verwendet habe, weil ich kein Nana-Gucker bin. Nun gut, Robin hat andere Kleidung an und raucht, aber denke, dass sie irgendwann das Nonnen-Dasein aufgegeben hat. Und wer leidenschaftlich Espresso trinkt, zu dem passt das Rauchen irgendwie *g*.

Die Stadt der Blinden - Traumatisierend und Pseudointellektuell

Der Film läuft unter dem Genre Thriller im Kino und genau das erwarte ich auch als ich mir „Die Stadt der Blinden“ im Kino ansehe. Er beginnt auch recht spannend mit einer mysteriösen Krankheit, die Menschen plötzlich erblinden lässt. Der Zuschauer fragt sich die üblichen Fragen: „Was ist das für eine Krankheit? Wie wird sie übertragen? Wodurch wird sie ausgelöst?“ Diese Fragen bleiben allerdings beim Zuschauer, denn im Verlauf des Films wird deutlich, dass es gar nicht um die Krankheit geht. Sie wird sowohl als Metapher benutzt als auch als Mittel die Protagonisten in eine menschenunwürdige Lage zu bringen. Da der Film das Leben der Gefangenen sehr realistisch darstellt, stört die Unlogik, wie mit der Krankheit umgegangen wird immens. Obwohl in der Gruppe, der Mensch ist bei dem die Krankheit begann, werden nie Tests und Untersuchungen durchgeführt. Einer der Hauptprotagonisten ist Augenarzt und nicht mal er stellt die richtigen Fragen. Die betroffenen Menschen werden einfach weggesperrt und sich selbst überlassen. Sie bekommen essen, aber keine Medikamente, was ebenfalls unlogisch ist. So wie mit ihnen umgegangen wird, könnte man meinen, dass als nächste Konsequenz der erste Erschießungsbefehl gegeben wird. Stattdessen wird der Zuschauer mit der Unmenschlichkeit und dem Wegfallen sämtlicher Moral konfrontiert, der in diesem Film bis zur Schmerzgrenze schonungslos gezeigt wird.
Das Grundthema ist alt und wurde schon viele Male umgesetzt. Man nehme die Menschen aus ihrem sozialen Gefüge und sieht zu, wie sie sich das Leben zur Hölle machen. Währenddessen erhebt man den moralischen Zeigefinger und lässt es die Protagonisten richtig machen.
Als gut umgesetztes Beispiel kann ich da „the Cube“ nennen. Der Film ist abstrakt gehalten, hat keine Logikfehler und zeigt ein menschliches Sozialgefüge in einer Extremsituation.
Die Stadt der Blinden wäre mit Sicherheit ein guter Film, was nicht nur Julianne Moores schauspielerischen Fähigkeiten zuzuschreiben ist, aber er scheitert an den massiven logischen Fehlern und dem schwer nachvollziehbaren Verhalten in der Situation der Gefangenschaft.

Fazit: Nichts für schwache Nerven und nichts für Menschen die bei Filmen nachdenken.

SIE IST DA! Episode 33 von Saiunkoku II ist endlich da. Nach mittlerweile bestimmt 2 Monaten und mehr, in denen alle Fans der Serie auf die nächste Folge gewartet haben. Und dann verschwand noch der Timer der Zweimann-Fansubgruppe und die Sache zog sich noch weiter in die Länge. Aber jetzt hat die Übersetzerin einen neuen Timer und ENDLICH ist es weitergangen. Und das beste: Ich war scheinbar eine der ersten, die es bemerkt hat, dass Folge 33 da ist. Ich war die erste, die sich im youtube-Profil der Übersetzerin für die neue Folge bedankt hat! Ist das nicht cool !?! ^_^
Vermutlich liegt es daran, dass die anderen alle Amis sind. An der Zeitverschiebung eben! Ich wusste es: der Tag würde kommen, an dem es weitergeht! Ich werde sofort alles stehen und liegen lassen und die neue Folge gucken (sind ja eh nur 25 Min.)...

It was my second FedCon and I was very excited about it. But to be honest - not because of the stars or the events at FedCon but because of seeing friends

again I met last year at the convention and because I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Hannah and Henry from the UK who stayed at my home over the time

of the convention.
The best thing about beeing a fan of something is to meet other people around the whole world (thanks 2 the internet). When there is a convention you

sometimes have the luck to meet someone in person you´ve met at the internet before. I think this really was the best part of the convention.

What a list!

My favorites definetly where Brent, Marina, Jamie+MAry, Peter+ Bruce, René and Michael Shanks.

I had a costume this year. I went as Vala Mal Doran from SG-1. Wise deciscion, because it turns out to be a nice way to pull a few words out of Michael

Shanks. I got an autograph and made a photo with him, but I don't want to scan it and show it around, because I want you to keep the sexy image from him in

your head. Well ... I looked good at this photo ;)

Whatever, we had a few funny moments about my costume.

What I really hate about FedCon this year was the sponsering. It was a popular alcohol company and a few actors had their bottle on stage(!!!!). ....(when I

rewatch my photo with Michael it seems he had a bottle of this drink too!) The sponsering really disturbed me, the advertising was everywhere and really hard

too overlook.
What I love about FedCon is, that there where so many different countries visiting Germany. They have these "Babel-Fish" people, who run through the Con and

helped people from other countries if they had problems with the language. I didn't see any of them. The idea is good, but they should have dressed them in a

more eye-catching way.

Speak about it, costume competitions are very great. But why have the moderators have to speak in German? The whole time they were advertising they were a

international convention with so many visitors from foreign countries.

Well whatever.

I like the panels a lot. I have never seen BSG before, but since I've seen Jamie and Mary on stage I think I have to watch it soon. They were so sweet

together.

Brent Spiner is a comedian GOD! My belly was aching - I had tears in my eyes. He created running gags like *I'm so proud of the work at Battlestar Galactica"

and he really was awesome. We had a clever and humorous audience this night and they played along with his jokes.

Speaking of running gags: We had 2 running gags from Battlestar Galactica. Every actor had been asked the same question: "Have you ever seen Jamie Bamber

naked?" And "fracking (is the spelling right?) geil!" was the phrase of the weekend.

I had very special and enjoyable moments at this FedCon (expecially the party at Saturday, which was great!!!!). It was worth it although there were a few

things to criticise.

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years.

He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it
he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

When he was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?"

"This is Heaven, sir," the man answered.

"Wow! Would you happen to have some water?" the man asked.

"Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up."

The man gestured, and the gate began to open.

"Can my friend," gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked.

"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets."

The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog. After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.

"Excuse me!" he called to the man. "Do you have any water?"

"Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in."

"How about my friend here?" the traveller gestured to the dog.

"There should be a bowl by the pump."

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveller filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog. When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.

"What do you call this place?" the traveller asked.

"This is Heaven," he answered.

"Well, that's confusing," the traveller said. "The man down the road said that was Heaven, too."

"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell."

"Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?"

"No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind."

FEDCON 16 REPORT

FedCon 2007:
Day 1 – Prince Charming (Part 1)
I arrived at 2:00 pm at the Maritim hotel, and went with my best friend Kathrin and a few others to the entrance. It was very impressive, there were so many people (from about 16 different countries).
There was a huge “Ferengi-market”, where dealers sold SciFi stuff. Avery Brooks, Jonathan Frakes and Cirroc Lofton where writing autographs in the room next to the market.
On the second floor I noticed Paul McGillion sitting in a row of actors (I don’t remember who else was there, I only had eyes for Paul giving autographs. There weren’t a lots of people, so I had a good chance to stop by and get a autograph. God I was so nervous, close to a heartattack.
He sat there and looked at me with a broad smile (You can’t imagine how sexy he can look, when you’re right in front of him). I went to him and he asked me, how I’m doing. I smiled (silly) at him, and only say “fine”, but this was a big lie. I told him, that I’m a big fan of him, and he really was delighted. He stood up and say. “C’m I give u a hug.” He hugged me and I was the happiest woman in the world…and it was a long hug…sure not long enough.
He asked me about my name, and signed my photo. And than he said to me: “You’re so beautyful.”
I don’t know what happened after that, (except, that I had this funny photoshooting with Paul later, which was very cool) but a few hours later, I sat in the big conference room (mainbridge!) and watched the opening ceremony, where all stars come to the stage and say “Hello!” Paul was wonderful (again). He told us, that Jonathan Frakes teached him the vulcan greeting. He was so funny.

After that, I watched the panel with Jonathan Frakes, who was very funny. And the last panel for the day, were Avery Brooks and Cirroc Lofton.
After that, they made a party in the hotel, but I went home, because I had a big schedule for the next day.
I only heard that Paul really drank a lot!

Day 2 – panels

Second day, and I couldn’t eat the whole day, because I was so excited. The most time I was sitting at the mainbridge, listen to a science report, watching cinema trailers until finally Paul was on stage.

After his panel there was a costume contest, where Paul was in the jury. I can’t describe how funny this was. There was a Blade jumping from a balcony (which was about 3 meters high), someone went as Captain Jack Sparrow (he looked so great!). It was absolute amazing!

After that a hilarious Kate Mulgrew was on stage, and after her Jewel Staite (Firefly/SGA) and Laura Bertram from Andromeda. First of all Laura was amazing funny, and Jewel was very cute. She told about her new role as Dr. Jennifer Keller and that Paul helped her a lot with background information, because she never saw Stargate Atlantis before. She told something about her Wraith role, she once had, and that she was happy, she hadn’t to play a Wraith again.
After the panels, there was the big Party, where Anthony Montgomery performed a few cool hiphop song, and Cirroc made a rap song. It was very cool day.
I think it was 4:00 am, when I finally was in bed

Day 3 – Prince Charming (Part 2)

11:00 am and I was back at the Con. I’ve brought the first picture from my new comic “Carson’s turtle farm” (I hope it’s online in a few day!) with me, because I wanted to give it to Paul McGIllion. He was in the big room, signing autographs, but when I went to him, I was lucky again. Most of the peolple were in the row for Kate Mulgrew and Jonathan Frakes.
So he had a little bit time for me…I gave him the picture, and he laughed because of the bunch of “wee baby turtles”. He asked me, if I had draw this by myself, and I told him about the comics I made. He stood up and hugged me again and than he kissed me on my cheek.

The next hour I was flying through the Con area, with no aim. I couldn’t think of anything.
My brain was back from vacancy when the next panels had started.
I watched Anthony, Armin Shimerman (who was great), Garret Wang (who was extremly funny, and had a great talent for imitation Cpt. Janeway)

Vieleicht sind wir es ja auch selber schuld das es so kommt wie es nun kommt überlegt doch mal. Wieviele leute sind den im Atlantis gewesen und haben den ganzen abend nur 1-3 bier oder sonst was getrunken! Davon lässt sich das Atlantis Leider nicht bezahlen Leute. ( so hart es auch klingen mag ist es nicht gemeint ) So ist die wahrheit aber!

Du hast sicherlich gute gründe das Atlantis zu schließen bin ja nun auch schon lange dabei und kenne die anfänge des atlantis. Es ist nur schade da sich über den zeitraum von 7 Jahren einige freundschaften aufgebaut haben,nun heißt es wirklich bye sagen, wie ich schon sagte kenne ich euch alle ja schon einige jahre und bin auch sehr gerne bei euch! Deswegen bin ich nicht wirklich happy darüber, da wir alle gerne bei dir gewesen sind!

Ich kann es verstehen warum das Atlantis schließt aber das es doch nun schon diesen monat sein soll hatte ich nicht gedacht!

Mein größter wunsch ist es alle Leute ob alt oder neu deiner angestellten zu sehen!

Nee, ich fürchte nicht. Was ich so schreibe ist in der Regel nicht wirklich durchdacht oder geplant, sondern kommt so spontan heraus. Ich krieg nicht mehr zusammen, was ich geschrieben hab. Ich kann mich nur noch erinnern, dass ich schwimmen gehen wollte...Falls du rein zufällig morgen kannst...schick mir mal ne mail oder so...
ich schreib einfach was neues bei Gelegenheit. Im Moment bin ich einfach zu platt, um kreativ zu sein und in 10 min. muss ich auch schon wieder los zur nächsten Arbeit.
Wir sehen uns auf jeden Fall am Samstag. Ich werde um 17h am Alten Zoll sein (das war doch die vereinbarte Zeit, oder??)
Zu Wolf's Rain: ich arbeite gerade an Folge 5 ff ... *g*. Ansonsten in Aktion: Silent Moebius, Inuyasha, Naruto, Basilisk und Hellsing sowie "The Hakkenden" (von den letzten drei hab ich aber noch nix gesehen).
Gestern hab ich mich mit der Frage amüsiert, wie man Screenshots bzw. Snapshots macht. Hab dabei die bereits auf meinem PC vorhandenen Player (Windows Media Player, Zoom Player) durchgearbeitet und mir den x-ten weiteren Player runtergeladen (VLC oder VCL...). Natürlich kann kein Player alles. Der eine (Zoom) kann ogm-Dateien abspielen, aber snapshots ist kompliziert, der andere (WMP) kann snapshots machen, aber (ohne zusätzliche Modifikation) keine ogm's abspielen ud der dritte (VLC) kann tatsächlich schnell und simpel Snapshots machen (wenn man denn herausgefunden hat, wohin er sie abspeichert *g*) und ogm's abspielen, dafür fehlt ihm eine entscheidende Bedienungsfunktion (eine Leiste mit den wichtigesten Knöpfen im Vollbildmodus, die man aufrufen und wieder verschwinden lassen kann). Den VLC hab ich desweiteren gestern gekillt, glaub ich, in dem ich bei laufendem Film eine vielversprechende Funktion namens "Wallpaper" angeklickt hab. Danach lief gar nix mehr. Ich werd ihn wohl neu installieren müssen.
Ganz allgemein glaub ich, mein armer PC leidet im Moment ganz schön unter mir. Er war doch arg langsam am WE, aber ich weiß auch warum...*g* (Trotz 18 M. Das hatte ich glaub ich öfter erwähnt in meinem Text *gg*).
Ey, ich wollte doch nicht so viel schreiben....War wohl nix...wie üblich...

hast du dein Strohwitwen-Dasein überstanden? Was macht der Nachwuchs, vermarktest du ihn knutmäßig? Wettermäßig hast Du es viel besser, bei uns ist es recht kühl und vor allem windig. Aber das kann im Sommer nur von Vorteil sein. Dafür kannst du schon grillen und im Rhein baden (hihi). Apropos Schwimmen: bist Du auch brav und gehst regelmäßig schwimmen?
